After about an hour, the first fish of the day was caught. An 8 pounder! Largest fish Todds ever caught! When he hooked it, he thought it was a catfish as it just sank. When it got up to the boat, we saw it was a bass. When Todd was waiting for a chance to lip the bass, Allen told him " just grab it". I guess he was a  little in shock. A nice fat fish.

(Another photo) From the looks of it, I'd say it was about 2' long. Last time Todd caught a big fish he was thinking about buying a scale. But what are the chances of catching another large fish :)

Allen pulled another one out of the same spot. Above is the photo of the next fish Allen hooked. You don't see a fish... or a lure. Both of them got away! Looks like Allen will be taking a trip to the tackle store before next time. Allen pulls out yet another one.
